Pengelola Bandung Zoo membakar koleksi satwa-satwa yang sudah diawetkannya seperti kucing hutan di bagian belakang fasilitas miliknya, Rabu (28/8/2019). Undang-Undang Nomor 5 tahun 1990 tentang Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Hayati dan Ekosistemnya mengatur peragaan satwa yang sudah diawetkan hanya bisa dilakukan oleh lembaga konservasi untuk keperluan pendidikan dan penelitian, apabila sudah tidak memberi manfaat harus dimusnahkan agar tidak jadi promosi untuk orang berburu atau membeli satwa liar dilindungi. - JP/Arya Dipa/Adi/19
