Tiga petugas operator tengah mengontrol kinerja turbin pembangkit listrik Unit Pembangkitan Selorejo, Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) Selorejo, Kabupaten Malang, Minggu (9/11). Menurunnya pola elevasi air di bendungan Selorejo, Kabupaten Malang, sebesar 612,5 meter kubik per detik akibat kemarau panjang, menyebabkan turbin Unit Pembangkitan Selorejo hanya mampu menghasilkan listrik sebesar 2,2 MW per jam dari kemampuan tertinggi mesin sebesar 4,48 MW per jam. Unit Pembangkitan Selorejo ini adalah satu dari 12 PLTA yang tersebar di sepanjang aliran Sungai Konto dan Sungai Brantas Jawa Timur, dengan total kapasitas listrik yang dihasilkan sebesar 281 MW.-JP/Wahyoe Boediwardhana/Adi/19
