Petugas Kantor Otoritas Bandara Wilayah III Kementerian Perhubungan memeriksa pesawat milik maskapai Lion Air yang tertutup debu vulkanik terparkir di apron terminal 1 bandar udara internasional Juanda Surabaya di Sidoarjo, Jumat (14/2). Pengelola bandara internasional Juanda Surabaya di Sidoarjo terpaksa menutup aktifitas penerbangan domestik maupun luar negeri di bandara ini hingga Sabtu (15/2) pagi pukul 06.00 Wib, karena terkena dampak debu vulkanik letusan Gunung Kelud. Selain landasan tertutup debu vulkanik setebal 2 centimeter, jarak pandang pilot juga terbatas hanya sekitar 1.000 meter-JP/Wahyoe Boediwardhana/Adi/19
