This artificial intelligence (AI) based application was developed by a team that passed the first batch of Apple Developer Academy selection at Ciputra University Surabaya, Wednesday (7/8). Apple in collaboration with Ciputra University Surabaya, built the second iOS-based Software Developer Training Center in Indonesia and became the first in Asia. Seorang anggota tim tengah mempresentasikan melihat tingkat kematangan rempah kunir (lumerictumeric) menggunakan aplikasi Fresh Thumb. Fresh Thumb merupakan sebuah aplikasi berisi panduan memilih buah, sayur atau herbs yang memiliki tingkat kematangan tepat. Aplikasi berbasis artificial intelligence (AI) ini digarap oleh tim yang lolos seleksi batch pertama Apple Developer Academy di Universitas Ciputra Surabaya, Rabu (7/8). Apple bekerjasama dengan Universitas Ciputra Surabaya, membangun Pusat Pelatihan Pengembang Piranti Lunak berbasis iOS kedua di Indonesia dan menjadi pertama di Asia.
