A tourist plays with a pigeon that inhabits Fort Van den Bosch, Ngawi, East Java. This fortress was built by the Dutch East Indies government after the Diponegoro War, and was completed in 1845. Its location made use of the confluence of the Bengawan Solo and Bengawan Madiun Rivers, these two river basins for natural strategic defense. Seorang wisatawan bermain dengan merpati yang menghuni Benteng Van den Bosch, Ngawi, Jawa Timur. Benteng pertahanan ini dibikin pemerintahan Hindia Belanda seusai Perang Diponegoro, dan selesai dibangun tahun 1845. Lokasinya memanfaatkan pertemuan Sungai Bengawan Solo dan Bengawan Madiun, dua aliran sungai ini untuk pertahanan alami yang sangat strategis.
