Yaseman (103), a resident of Wonokerso Village, Pakisaji Subdistrict, Malang Regency, East Java, accompanied by his grandson Iswanto, testified before a panel of judges at the De Haag Court, the Netherlands through a skype connection, about acts of violence he experienced while being held prisoner by the Dutch army in 1947 ago, Friday (7/7) in Malang. Yaseman was captured by the Dutch army at the time, and forced to claim to be an Indonesian independence fighter. Because he was reluctant to admit, he was tortured and jailed for 13 months in five different places in the Malang region. At present the case is handled by the Dutch Honorary Debt Committee (KUKB), and submitted to a hearing in The Hague, Netherlands. Yaseman (103), warga Desa Wonokerso, Kecamatan Pakisaji, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, didampingi cucunya Iswanto, memberikan kesaksian di depan majelis hakim Pengadilan De Haag, Belanda melalui sambungan skype, tentang tindak kekerasan yang dialaminya saat ditawan oleh tentara Belanda pada tahun 1947 silam, Jumat (7/7) di Malang. Yaseman ditangkap oleh tentara Belanda saat itu, dan dipaksa mengaku sebagai tentara pejuang kemerdekaan Indonesia. Lantaran enggan mengakui, ia disiksa dan dipenjara selama 13 bulan di lima tempat berbeda di wilayah Malang. Saat ini kasusnya ditangani oleh Komite Utang Kehormatan Belanda (KUKB), dan diajukan ke sidang di Den Haag, Belanda.
