A visitor took a selfie photo with a rare corpse flower that was blooming at Tambunen village, Sibolangit district, Deliserdang regency, North Sumatra on Friday. It's precisely located at a private vila of Maripro that lies on a 30 hectares tropical rain forest area. The plant with latin name Amorphophallus Titanum requires 10 to 15 years to bloom if it is grown from seeds, and more than 20 years if it is grown using tissue culture. The corpse flower has been included in the rare plant category based on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s classification and is protected by Government Regulation (PP) No. 7 of 1999.-JP/Nurni Sulaiman/Adi/20

Seorang pengunjung mengambil foto selfie dengan bunga bangkai langka yang sedang mekar di desa Tambunen, kabupaten Sibolangit, Kabupaten Deliserdang, Sumatera Utara pada hari Jumat. Tepatnya terletak di vila pribadi Maripro yang terletak di kawasan hutan hujan tropis seluas 30 hektar. Tanaman dengan nama latin Amorphophallus Titanum membutuhkan 10 hingga 15 tahun untuk berbunga jika ditanam dari biji, dan lebih dari 20 tahun jika ditanam menggunakan kultur jaringan.
