Street Smart Society Business Case Competition (S3BCC)

With the theme of ‘Working towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)’, this event focused on the framework established by the United Nations to address global issues such as socioeconomic inequality, climate change, and more. S3BCC participants, aged 11 to 19, were tasked to develop a social enterprise venture focusing on at least one of the 17 UN SDGs. Over 25 teams and 80 participants - hailing from Indonesia and other countries - submitted their business ideas addressing goals ranging from decent work and economic growth to environmental sustainability.

Dengan tema ‘Working towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (“UN SDGs”)’, atau ‘Bekerja menuju pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan PBB’, acara ini berfokus kepada agenda yang ditetapkan oleh PBB untuk mengatasi isu global seperti kesenjangan sosial, perubahan iklim, dan lain sebagainya. Peserta S3BCC yang berusia 11 hingga 19 tahun ditugaskan untuk mengembangkan konsep usaha sosial yang berfokus pada setidaknya satu dari 17 UN SDGs. Lebih dari 25 tim dan 80 peserta, baik dari Indonesia maupun mancanegara, mempresentasikan ide bisnis mereka untuk mengatasi berbagai macam isu sosial, mulai dari pekerjaan layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi hingga kelestarian lingkungan.
