In the Digul River, head currents will also be found, which is a natural phenomenon that occurs during the full moon, where the tides of sea water enter the river and cause a swift current with waves reaching 12 meters. Rumah Warga di pinggir Sungai Digul. Menyusuri Sungai Digul akan disuguhi pemandangan pemukiman warga. Tampak salah satu rumah warga yang ditemukan di pinggir Sungai Digul. Sungai Digul adalah sungai terbesar di wilayah selatan Papua. Hulunya di wilayah pegunungan dan bermuara di Laut Arafura. Di Sungai Digul juga akan ditemukan kepala arus, yaitu fenomena alam yang terjadi saat bulan purnama, dimana air pasang sari laut masuk ke sungai dan menimbulkan arus deras dengan gelombang yang mencapai 12 meter.
